Old Nordic Maps

The General Staff Map is distributed under open license CC0 by the Swedish mapping authority Lantmäteriet. The license means that one can use, distribute, adapt, modify and build on Lantmäteriet's open data, even in commercial contexts, without any restrictions. Lantmäteriet asks to cite it as the source when distributing its open data, but this is not a requirement.

My work for bringing this map available in modern cartographic tools is offered for free with rate limits for personal, research and education usage by a primary user (not part of a service where it would be offered to more users).

It is not allowed to bypass rate limits or download the tiles in bulk. You must contact Encharted Media AB ([email protected]) and receive a paid access if you want to use this map large-scale, commercially, or if you are not the primary user, for example if you plan to include this map as a layer inside a service you are offering.
